Hey Steemians,
I’m new here and super excited about using and discovering Steemit.
I’m a mum to a charismatic, smart, funny 6 year old boy. If I’m honest, I’m just now starting to get the hang of parenting and learning the art of letting go a little – emphasis on little! 😊 Being a mum is hands-down the most epic part of my life. To watch a little human grow and develop a personality is truly a privilege. With parenting comes a huge responsibility and navigating the world of parenting and all that comes with it, can sometimes be tricky. I’m always reading about and researching ways to best help my son develop to the best of his capabilities. To strike the ‘perfect’ balance of emotional stability, sociability and creativity. He’s just now starting his coding journey and I’ll be sure to include updates in my blog - in case it interests you.
I’m currently studying biology at university and really enjoying getting involved in the sciences again. The long term goal is be a medical research scientist.
Aside from being a mum, studying and working, my downtime is all about skincare and makeup. Obsessed is an understatement! I love trying new products and having a comment or two. Skincare and makeup is so subjective that it’s hard not try every product because you don’t know when you’ll find your gem!
My blogs will mainly be about parenting and skincare/makeup. I’ll always thoroughly test a product before forming an opinion and sharing. If there’s a product you want testing, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to get hold of it.
5 fun (depending on your POV) facts about me:
- I love coffee. Fresh coffee, not that instant brown stuff!
- I think I sound like Beyonce, but no one seems to agree. It must be those bathroom acoustics.
- I’m always right. Even when I’m wrong, I’m right.
- I love the smell of books.
- I can spell every word in the dictionary – feel free to test me 😉
