The Inspirational Story of Katy Perry

She was born in a family which struggled financially. They even had to live on canned food to feed themselves .

She developed passion for singing since her childhood. But her conservative parents never allowed her to pursue it as a career.

                                                                     

But eventually, she began rebelling against her strict upbringing  And started playing guitar & singing.

Her first album failed so badly which crushed her dreams.

At 17, she left her hometown to work on a new album which never even got released  being broke with no place to stay, she had to borrow money for years to make the ends meet.

She said, " It was 5 years of living with no money, selling my clothes to make rent, & borrowing money".

In that dark period, she started having suicidal thoughts.

She said, " I feel ashamed that I had suicidal thoughts, felt that low & depressed ''.

But she still held on! And with her constant struggle, her songs like ''Teenage Dream'' topped the charts making her a superstar that she is today.

Today Katy Perry is one of the Greatest Singers of this time with a net worth of $135 million.
