Hotel, Motel and Guest House

These three names are often intertwined because people tend to mix with one another. because they believe that they all fulfill the same function or are used for the same purpose.

I will share the meanings of the above words for correct understanding.

The hotel is a business that offers accommodation and other services to pay guests. normally larger than the guest house and usually one of the chains.

The motel is typically a residence with access to a number of rooms, close to the car park, which can easily facilitate easy access to someone's car during a night, near a large motorway.

A small house near the main house for visitors staying in the guest house.

A private house offering accommodation for paying guests; a boarding house; a bed and breakfast.

Although we often confuse it for service purposes, we can see the meaning of the above terminologies.
