Her main inspirations for the Crazy House were nature of the city of Dalat, an interesting perspective that complemented the city for its natural beautify. She chose to fuse her creativity with influences from the Catalans and famous architect Antoni Gaudi who had much involvement in the Catalan Modernism.

Finding a little more about how such a work of wonder came to be was an interesting discovery. Nga would veer away from conventional construction drawings and projections and instead, make use of paintings to portray her ideas.
