A little girl on the subway.

On the subway, I saw the cutest little girl. She had two pigtails, and it instantly reminded me of my own childhood because my mom loved to style my hair that way too, always insisting the accessories on both sides were perfectly symmetrical. Looking at this little girl, I couldn't help but think that my love for looking pretty must have come from my mom!

When I made eye contact with the girl's mother, we both exchanged a warm smile, as if we shared a special unspoken connection. The little girl was holding a small box in her hands, which housed two tiny turtles. It seemed they had just brought the turtles along with them and were on their way to pick up her dad from work before spending the weekend together. Watching this happy family, I couldn't help but reflect on how beautiful and precious childhood really is. That kind of simple joy can always warm your heart, almost like revisiting my own childhood memories.
