RE: Application for Community Curator "The Quest Team" for October 2024

It is good to see you back and I am sure you will do your stinking best again to make Steemit a great lively place where commenting is hot, commenters are read, receive replies and will be rewarded.

I truly hope the commenters will increase since I mainly bump into the same people and myself or the road leads to me. I would be rich if I could upvote me.

All the best dear team, next to the planet you can also restore Steemit @stef1.

A big hug for you and your partner.

Thank you Kitty for seeing this post and for your feedback. The way how you changed the platform is really great and noticeable but also it is like some fresh air and completely different way of thinking and attitude. You are absolutely right about the value of many good comments that are often left without much attention. it is easy to find a good post but it is difficult to find a good comment.

Because of your example of curating I thought if we change the support% for comments who knows we might find more people who will prefer to write replies and that is an engagement. it is always nice to have a long chain of comments, maybe break a record and in such post many could be rewarded for good comments. By the way, while commenting people I have found many interesting users who are still active and still are engaging.

Thank you for your wishes, I hope that you also will apply for October, I know that it is busy and hard job to be a good curator but you are unique curator and Steemit definitely will benefit from your presence.

A big hug to you too 😊

There are indeed plenty of people willing to engage and happy with a comment. It all depends on you if the answer and how long that answer will be. I am sure you know what is needed to start a chat, Just dropping a note is not enough replying and answering the reply, showing interest is the key and sharing a bit of you. I like it although I also admit at times I lack the time although most of the time I spend on Steemit is commenting and reading, instead of writing (I have to change that).

I believe of all the things I do on Steemit being a curator is what doesn't take me much time. The reason is I have a large network and know who comments and where I can find them (it helps if you read a lot and upvoting is already a habit I also have a good memory and next to that wherever I go if I see something good I save the link).

If you only read comments you will see a completely different side of Steemit (or a different world) and right now I like that part way better than the post. Why? Because it's free from the templates, always the same titles, topics, and so on.

I am not sure if I will apply for curator again. So far I have no plans.

A great evening/night to you and thanks for the mention and on behalf of everyone your support.

They will definitely increase, is just a matter of time. Assuming there's a room for informing steemians that curators care about their quality comments, they announcement would have been made officially but steemians don't need to comment because they will get votes.

Commenting is communicating, is a natural thing steemians should be part of, their are so many things to comment about in this platform and by now I expect steemians to be interacting in different posts almost everyday.

I would be rich if I could upvote me.

That's true 😂. Each time am curating and I get to a post with quality engagement and I decide to read from the buttom of the long comment I will end up seeing your username at the top and I will say to myself Oh this is wakeupkitty, I thought I have seen another steemian that engages perfectly.

You engage alot and I love that, stef1's team will really do well if they get selected.
