Tutorial: Creating with Artifical Intellegence Editor Program: strength and weaknesses

Hello dear Steemians

 

You are lucky that I am off today from my hospital duty and therefore, can spend some time for writing but also answering multiple comments in my previous post, if you are interested please visit it and engage, I would love to see many different opinions to this interesting topic.

Today, my topic dedicated totally to Artificial Intelligence, you may ask why? The answer is because we slowly having AI everywhere in our life and I must say it is no way back, it will be a part of our life if we want it or if we do not. Actually it is already firmly integrated into many apps and many equipment, we often do not know but it is there.

 

Writing using AI

 

Beginning of the year many teachers in high schools, Universities complained that some works of students were written using AI help. That is something that we slowly approaching, as human we like to have an easy way, not to think, not to create, not to spend hours for our work but just a minute in order to give few words for AI and the program will make it ready, the students pass it to teachers and happy to step up to the next level.

It is still possible to recognise human written, because we do common mistakes, we have our common expression and that is something that is easy recognisable for our teachers.

 

Creating using AI

 

As to creating using AI, it is at this stage not fully in its perfection, if someone thinks that it is enough just give few task words to AI and it will do the rest, then he is wrong the whole work with a program is a teaching.

Yes, I mean really teaching AI like we teach our little children when they start understanding the world around us, we spend hours and hours with our little children, we give them our patience and love. We also control every time if our child learnt a lesson if not we start again without pressure but with patience. The same with your AI program, you need to teach it and it will slowly learn from you, you can form it in the direction that you want.

After spending hours on fine tuning and checking if everything is done according the natural realistic appearance then it is a creation of your brain work and AI

 

What you need to pay attention to when using AI for creation

 

Here are some examples, the first image of a FEMALE FACE that @myskye worked on paying attention to light source, that is falling on face and shadow that is dropped by nose in order to create this wonderful effect of Light and Shadow. Also pay attention to the highlighted part of iris of eye and highlight of light, there are two different intense lights reflected on eye. Those little tunes need to be specially programmed to get the final image that is there.

Once again you as a Visual Art creator need to pay attention to everything to make your image perfect:

• composition
• esthetic
• light source
• create an impression of movement: like Wind, you can see how wind is blowing through hair, how her dress is floating and also waves

That everything gives an impression of romantic atmosphere, makes us relaxed and feel to be transported to this beautiful place.

How your AI creation can go wrong if you do not put efforts

 

 

Do you want to know how your work can go wrong if you use AI but very lazy to check if your AI student did his homework well? If yes, then continue reading.

Can you guess what is wrong below?

 

 

Yep! Do you see my "?" there, have you found what is wrong here? I hope yes, and it is something that often AI has. I gave you an obvious mistake but let's see more examples that will be a little more difficult to figure out.

 

 

Do you see now? If not then pay attention to the right hand of a person holding the cup, where fingers merged to the hand of a cup. Reminds me "Men in Black" movie with aliens.

 

 

Nice mystical and almost "Harry Potter" atmosphere, but the fingers make the scene ridiculous.

 

 

Romantic dinner for two but what happened to the glasses and who is going to eat so much pasta?

 

 

What about this handsome young man, everything looks good but pay attention he has three hands, on right one is in pocket and another is along his side.
Another error that you can see on this image that AI did not really pay attention was a pedestrian crossing there are few lines but where they end up? On right side of a man there is no lines anymore. AI has no idea why we need these white lines, maybe it is a "piano keys"? Who knows what AI thinks when doing them.

Again something that your AI will not be able to understand so you need to teach your program.

 

I hope you learnt one lesson nothing is perfect and we know that for everything we need time to learn understandably AI is learning fast but it needs us to be there and to teach. Who know how it will be in the future, I think it could be the same like us human or their parents AI could be dangerous and decide that we Human is danger and get rid of us or it could be a good caring child who will make our life better. Either way we need each other and let's start learning and using each other in the best beneficial way.
