Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,

Today I wanted to draw your attention to another user who we have noticed recently, again because the user posted the posts in our Community “World of Xpilar”

We often ask ourselves why the people do that, we never can understand, but there are always those ones who deceive in order to get something and doing that they spoil the reputation of other honest users who are coming from their countries. They do not realize that they make the live of their countrymen more difficult.

The story today is about the person who while looking through the whole blog I still can’t tell if the person was from beginning lair or decided to lie on later stage.

@chrishberry

The user started well with introduction post and reading it, it sounds honest. The user also using the names of following users as mentor @kingcent and also mentioning these users as they are from the same country @bright-obias, @focusnow

About 3 month ago, the user posted the Achievement Post- Anti-Plagiarism:

This is a statement from the post:

For this post the user received a comment from Greeter helper who verified that user passed that achievement:

Now let’s go back to the user blog and to the posts that made us to stop and check. Looking at the blog, all three marked posts included stolen images that the user claims belong to her:

Let’s explain what is what:

Deception case 1: @chrishberry, stolen image from www.flickr.com

The original Photo is available in Internet:

Deception Case 2: Stolen Photography from Brazilian Model Gisele Cardoso

This time the user posted the beautiful photo and mentioned that this is her friend and again because it is posted in “World of Xpilar” we have checked it:

The Photo can’t be done by user because first it is well known Brazilian Model Gesele Cardoso and also the photo is done not couple of days ago but was published on the 1st of June 2016

Deception Case 3: The Photo taken from wallpapercityscape.blogspot.com

The next Photo we just wanted to check with hope that maybe this photo done by the user:

Reading that I really thought that this is the photo of the user but after quick search we found the match, this appears in different websites as Indian Village and not the African.

Deception case 4: image from Youtube

For this post the user used the image that was cropped from video tutorial of Indian Art tutor “Priya Art Studio”:

Seeing that despite of passing the Achievements and even after they wrote themselves the posts about abuse and plagiarism some of the user decide to publish the work of others, simply taking them from Internet and thinking out the story around them claiming that they are their own.

@steemcurator01 and @cryptokannon any idea how newcomers could be convinced not to choose the way of deception like this user, who obviously passed achievements and was advised throughout the initial steps.

If you like what we do, please support our Initiative, it takes a lot of time and research to collect the evidence and we are working hard on keeping Steem blockchain free of Plagiarism and Abuse.

Thanks for this - good find

Thank you for reading.

This particular person is not a verified or active member of SteemAlive community. However, the findings in this post are undeniable. I have gotten in touch with @bright-obias who is also in the same city with @kingcent to investigate this user. I will also try to get in touch with @kingcent.

I educate people about plagiarism and why it's such a terrible course. Although some people would still decide to do wrong. We will continue the fight. Unfortunately, they try to soil the reputation of others, which is bad in itself.

Thanks @stef1 for your work in fighting plagiarism. We are in this together.

Thank you @focusnow for reading the post, you are right it is enough to have few of those people and especially who are mentioning the names of the community leaders, that gives an impression that they are recognize members and of course raises suspicion why then the community did not act. In general, it would be good if somebody invites people then keep an eye on the person and guide them. Of course, it is not always possible but we need to try to support new users to avoid such situations.

Thank you for this works and good finding @stef1 we would take appropriate action and label this user as a plagiarist at Newcomers Community.

Thank you @cryptokannon, I can imagine that there are many new users joining daily and it must be very difficult to keep an eye on them :)

Hi @stef1
I don't know where your findings will end.You have just started posting about these frauds and each week a new case is there. God knows..

But please be careful these frauds don't try to harm you in any way.
God bless you and TC

Hi @crafter thank you for your nice and caring words. It seems there are many recently but hopefully will settle a bit once the people will be more cautious :)

This user should publish his own content, it would be something easy to publish his photographs and other things that actually bring him some benefit, I do not understand the reason for plagiarizing content and then star in this situation, I suggest to this friend that you reflect and take the community with original work commitment greetings
