Being on The Top
I visited my hometown Rize city in Turkey. There are many plateaus in my country. I tried to visit many of them. Pokut was one of the best among them. I was among the smell of pine trees at an altitude of about 2300 meters. The view was great. A cloud of fog was coming between the mountains behind me. I took photos to immortalize this moment.
I sat on this small bench. I could not hear any human or animal sounds. Only the sound of the gentle wind. The colors of the trees delighted my eyes.
I was able to reach Pokut plateau in 2 hours with the car I rented. The road was quite bad. The state is thinking of paving the roads and improving them, but the locals are against this. Because more people will be able to go to these plateaus and these plateaus will lose their naturalness.
I also support this idea of the locals.
The temperature in the plateaus is about 22 degrees, but they say it gets very cold at night and they light stoves. The temperature in the city is about 30 degrees.
I am very tired after a 9-day vacation. I have traveled about 5000 km. I have visited more than 10 plateaus.
This vacation will last me a long time :)
