"Recipe of the Day, Week No. 33: (Jellof Rice Recipe)"

Greetings to very steemit iron-chef friends in the house. We are already in a new week and am delighted to participate in this week Recipe of the day. Welcome and stay tuned!

Ingredients needed

  • Rice

  • Crayfish

  • Fresh pepper

  • Egg

  • Onions

  • Uziza (2 leaf)

  • Adja stew cube

  • Salt

  • Seasoning cubes

  • Groundnut oil.

Preparation

🔸Wash the rice 3-4 times with salt using cool water, then pour the wash rice inside a clean pot, add water and boil for 20minute.

🔸 Remove the rice from the fire, use filter to drain out the water. Place the filter under a running tap water and rinse it well.

🔸 Using another pot, heat on fire for it to dry, pour in your desire quatity of groundnut and heat for 1minute. Add the slice onions on the oil and stir.

🔸 Pound the fresh pepper alongside with crayfish and add on the pot, slice the Uziza leaf and add, then mix it together.

🔸Put a little water on the pot, add the Adja stew cube, salt, seasoning cube and stir, add the parboiled rice and stir it well then add water and allow it to boil until the water dried up.

🔸 Open the pot and check if the water in the rice had dried off completely, then off the rice and save it when is still hot. Boil egg for fifteen minutes and peel out. Use the egg and details the rice.

Jolly rice is mostly cook on event such as child dedication, marriage, birthday, coronation, graduation, birthday and many more. It's a type of recipe that can be taken at any time.
