Hello everyone! I hope you will be well and good. Today I am here to share a splendid day with you. This day has great importance for all of us. It was the day to celebrate Eid Milad. And it stands as a pious day. So let's start exploring this day.

Myself

The beautiful morning was shaking me to wake up. It was the time of dawn when my eyes became open to see another day of my life. The light darkness before the sun rising was amazing. It was really attractive. I left my bed and headed to take my ablution. I wanted to start my day with the prayers and recitation.

Decorated Mosque

Everything is decorated at this day especially the mosques and the streets. As soon as I reached mosque it was looking very beautiful. The mosque was embellished with garlands and other decorative materials. The walls and the roof of the street were decorated with the beautiful flowers. Everyone was looking very excited about this day.

I offered my prayer my own and then I started offering prayer collectively by following Imam. The morning prayer was short and after the prayer all of us started reciting social versus. It was really a peaceful and delightful moment.

Traditional Laziza Kheer - Rice Pudding

At the moment of these special days it is also a tradition. So my nephew prepared this special sweet dish last night. And in the morning it was cool and looking more delicious. It was made with the almonds and other dry fruits. So I enjoyed eating this rice pudding. Each spoon was full of deliciousness. It is very easy to make. Anyone can make it. There is need of milk and a packet of ready made Laziza Kheer and then we have to cook it until it becomes thick.

Procession

Then in order to continue the traditional celebrations it was the time to celebrate it in the form of a big procession with the rasing voices of slogans. All the people including the old, young, children participate in the procession. They wear white dresses and hold flags and walk collectively. Some people come on the cars, bikes and other transports.

And on the way there are the participation of more and more people. Many edible things are distributed to the procession. Children become more excited and they collect many things. I still remember when I was a child I went with the procession in the nearby city using my bicycle. There was great rush of people. And literally I collected many things including fruits, biryani boxes and much more.

Sweet Street Foods

As I mentioned earlier people distribute foods to the procession. So as the procession was going it was getting attention of many people. The distributors were coming to the procession and they were distributing things. On the way there was a shop which has fresh sweet street foods. People were buying from there and they were distributing. Things are distributed in the houses as well. It is another thing of love and joy. At my home I distributed bananas. My mother distributed these bananas to the little children.

This procedure continued till evening. In the evening I came back to home. And I was feeling tired. I took some rest and then I explored Steemit. I read different posts and started preparing my homework post as well.

External Decoration of Mosque

Now it was the night time. And I especially came out of the house to see the external decoration of the mosques with the lights. It was really very attractive scene. You can see they embellished the whole mosque with the different colours of lights and they were attracting everyone. I stopped there for sometime and then I saved this as a memory. They installed a design of dates tree 🌴 on the entrance.

So in this way this day full of excitement and happiness ended in which I enjoyed many things. Now it was the time to sleep so I slept.
