It's another day to participate in an amazing contest hosted in this community by @abdullahw2 which talks about 3 days in a Desert. I found this contest very interesting and for that reason, I have decided to share my participation.

Have you ever imagined about spending three or more days in a desert? If yes then share your thoughts with us.

I have never imagined spending not even a day talk more of days in a dessert. That thought of traveling into a desert might be the last thought in my entire life, spending three days in a desert will really not be easy but people travel into desert for somany reasons, I have never thought of visiting a desert anyway.

Assuming I have had such a thought before, the number one thing that would pump into my mind will be how far the journey will be? the foods to eat especially water. I must also think of the stress of the journey to be taken.

During the three days, What essential items would you bring with you to survive in the desert, and why?

I know so well that a desert is not a funny place at all, it's not a place one can just wake up a day to begin the journey. Before I commence on the journey, I will make sure I get these three things ready.

• Foods

I cannot survive the life there without food so food is very important and it is the number one thing to consider first on a journey.

• Mat and pillow

Mat and pillow will be very essential too because I will have to sleep at night and I can't sleep on a bare ground. Deciding to go on a journey means one should think of how to enjoy the night as well.

• Clothes

It is very important to carry along clothes that would cover my body especially trousers, jackets and cardigan. A desert is an open place where there could be cold.

What type of foods and drinks would you like to take during your 3 days Trip in a desert? Also tell us reasons.

Foods is life especially water. Water is life, living there without water for days is going to be dramatic. One can survive with only water for three days so, food and water is very essential and the foods must be fast foods like cornflakes, sugar, garri etc.

If I would take along raw foods, it might possibly be very hard for me to cook. Going along with pots, gas cooker and plates might be too loady for me so I will prefer to go with only fast foods as mentioned above.

If you were asked to take one of your Steemian friend with you for your three-day desert stay, who would you take and why?

I would love to go on this journey with the user @bonaventure because I have observed that he is a lover of going to places he has never been to. Secondly, I know he will like to come along with me to take pictures and then write on the journey to the desert, sharing with friends on the experience and encounter in the desert.
