I had no idea that every second of promotion at this event was.so expensive, I start by saying that. You mean they invested a few million in 60 seconds.
If the system collapsed with a massive influx of "potential customers", it also shows that they are not prepared at system level for such amount of users.
It also means that their customer service system would not be prepared to deal with a wave of complaints in case this happened (this last one is speculation), but I can deduce from that failure.
No doubt that being exposed in an event of millions of people can be a plus, it could be said that it was a success.

    Indeed. It cost them tons of money.
