DIY Home made Facial

in OCD4 years ago

My twin sister visited me today and was so lucky that she offered me a DIY facial. We used mint leaves and will serve as a toner. We also had a drop of Rose water. It has a very cooling and rejuvenating effect on the skin.

Mint leaves are a great moisturizer to skin. It leaves your skin tight and smoother. Helps to remove dead skin cells and dirt through the pores.

Rose water on the other hand, contains antibacterial properties that prevents acne. It controls oil, redness, helps to fade scars and smells really great.

This natural DIY facial mask takes only 5 minutes to make it. We used an eco friendly compressed mask, This mask expands when it touches liquid. It also helps to hold up the mixture in to your face.

You will need:

  • Extract the juice from the mint leaves by pounding them. Add a drop of Rose water and mix it up.

Next time, I am going to do it with honey, yoghurt and ground oats for skin exfoliation.

It was a lovely day, chats, me-time and girl time. Right to our kitchen and All at the comfort of our home .
