Hello again my fellow steemians, hope that everyone has celebrated their new year remarkably in spite of all the glitches that have transpired in the past few weeks. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for all the personalities who conspired to support and be a pillar towards this program and to commence contests like this that bestow us privileges especially for those who are newcomers to showcase what they've got in the blogging platform. Every story was such an innovation to each and everyone of us here and could even influence us to do our finest in establishing significant stories that may gain a spotlight.

Today, I would like to display here some sentimental photos that I have captured just before the year 2021 ended that really occupies a space in my heart right now. Each photo has a story to tell, please read it with your whole heart.

This photo was taken on December 14, 2021. We are just finished decorating the house with this adorable Christmas light. We are eagerly prepared for the yuletide season as you can see. After putting the decoration up, we chose to chill a minute outside in our mini veranda to gasp some fresh air and to feel the rhythm of those tiny glimmering lights that totally brought enjoyment to our inner soul. We can truly feel the essence of Christmass and we are all excited about it. Had already planned on what to do on that most special day of our lives. While meditating, a falling star crossed the sky quickly and automatically I whispered a wish.

Suddenly when Typhoon Odette splashed her wrath on the villages on December 16,2021 evening and left everything tumbledown and hopeless. The damage that was left by her was unbearable, streets were filled with collapsed trees and poles, houses and buildings were smashed just like paper, GI roofs were scattered everywhere, internet connection and signals were paralize, many families left homeless while in deepest hunger and everything was in ultimate destruction. This was an aftermath photo that I have captured right after the onslaught of the Typhoon. It breaks my heart, yes it really breaks my heart, knowing that what we had invested was gone in just one blink of an eye. Tears developed in my inner heart but didn't choose to fill down on my cheeks, it was a silent pain indeed. That house was freshly built last July 2021, only 5 months young but now here it is, the walls were kissing the ground, GI roof was nowhere to found, the debris was scattered all around and was wrecked ultimately. And I was completely down, shaking and speechless while standing in the midst of confusion and broken dreams. Don't know where to start or what to do next.

Time has passed slowly as we pursue life in its hardest due shortage of all the basic needs but life must go on what ever it goes. New year's eve was covered with darkness since not all of the electricity was completely restored yet but most importantly is that many of the families had already overcome yesterday's destruction and were even able to celebrate the new year with simplicity full of hope. This photo was taken while welcoming the new year. I capture those beautiful fireworks as it shoots across the sky and draws happiness and inspiration to my whole being. Those fireworks really gave a beautiful scenery that evening. The explosion of its different colors had given me positive vibes in spite of all the mishaps that we suffered and had to go through, though we have nothing left but seeing those bursting fireworks ignited a spark of positivity towards those homeless individuals just like us. Hoping and praying that this year 2022 will bring a lot of joy, happiness, good health and wealth indeed opposite to what we encountered the past year of 2021.

That's all for today my fellow steemains hope you enjoyed reading my post. I'm inviting my friends to join this contest ma'am @rose0128, @glenicelou27 and @yoieuqudniram.

Happy to set my 20% rewards to #steemitphcurator.
