SEC | S19W5 [Winners Announcement]: Effect of Digital Classrooms on our Educational System

The Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 19 Week 5 with the subject matter "Effect of Digital Classrooms on our Educational System" has come to an end.

We would like to thank all the participants for taking part in the lessons and assignments from our team. By studying and following this assignment we hope that you will be able to carry out Micro Teaching properly.

As a team, we tried as much as possible to assess all entries collectively before concluding on the winner's selection. So below are the assessments we took into consideration for the selection.

Firstly we ensured that all questions were properly answered and for those that needed a guide, we ensured to drop meaningful comments on their post hence below is the summary of the questions and the answers we also expected from the students.

In the first question, we wanted students to discuss their understanding of what digital classrooms are all about and the reasons why they should be adopted in our educational system.

We expect to see a proper and concise definition of digital classrooms and reasons why they should be adopted. Here in the reasons we wanted students to give scenarios such as the lockdown period during the pandemic or other cases such as crises.

In the second question, we wanted students to list 3 gadgets that can make digital classrooms effective, and here we expected students should mention 3 different gadgets that have different functions and explain them extensively.

Lastly, since everything that has a benefit also has a challenge, we expected students to share with us the benefits and the challenges of digital classrooms as compared to physical classrooms.

In summary, the various participants demonstrated a very strong understanding of the topic under consideration, and that made the selection of winners even tougher for us. Based on that we took into consideration all the rules and guides listed in our application post to make the selection.

As I said earlier, it was a very competitive contest as every participant demonstrated a very good understanding and presentation of the homework task. The team was in constant communication with each other on deciding the winners. The committee's decision is final, we also include the reason why their post was chosen.

🥇 1st place (5 Steem)

The author has discussed the effect of digital classrooms on our educational system extensively. She defined digital classrooms in a very simple and easy way and also she discussed the reasons why it should be adopted. She also discussed extensively 3 different gadgets that can be used to enhance digital learning. Finally, the user gave us the benefits and the challenges associated with digital classrooms more clearly and concisely. Seeing that she presented all the points well, our team chose her as one of the winners of this week's contest.

🥈 2nd place (3 Steem)

This author gave a good presentation by answering all tasks precisely and accurately. He well analyzed the benefits and challenges of implementing a digital classroom in detail.

This author also built engagement with other participants and actively participated in the Steemit engagement challenge season 19 activities. So we think he deserves to be one of the winners this week.

Our team chose her post as the winner because she had explained her task in detail, in her post we could also tell that she was an experienced teacher in digital classroom learning as she also showed some evidence of classroom implementation.
