My Steemian friends,

We all know feedback is crucial for growth. Whether you’re refining a project, enhancing your skills, navigating new challenges, or even writing posts here on Steemit constructive feedback can be your greatest ally. This I have clearly seen this week.

Events and other activities

World Smile South Africa

Last week no donations were received for Lucia’s Feeding Scheme. Myself and another lady decided to help from our personal accounts. In the end, all 65 kids received food on both days. I was amazed how such a little can be stretched to feed so many.

There was a request that we all meet in the first week of October as one person is currently away in Johannesburg. I have informed @el-nailul accordingly.

General

A helping hand was lent to six Steemians on WhatsApp and Discord, and various others via the platform.

▸Africa:

My main focus is still on Africa.

Advice was given to two Steemians from Africa via WhatsApp and the “How to Be Unique in 7 Days program” was shared with five Steemians this week.

▸SEC20 Helping teams:

Assistance was given to one of the teams.

Issues encountered:

I spent some time reading various of the SEC20 entries this week.

What I have noticed was that surprisingly the post engagement is good. Better than what I have anticipated even though some of the tasks are not easy at all.

The engagement in comments on the other hand was poor. I want to encourage Steemians to read the posts of their fellow Steemians. You can only learn from them.

Let’s take the business lessons. There were over 40 entries with 40 ideas for starting your own business. One of them might just have been the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
