Booming Support: time for new Application process
Hello my dear Steemians,
First of all, I wanted to thank @hive-152479 for warm welcome of my previous post and also I find it really good idea that my "Brainstorming" sub-title I can further develop if there is any topics that would be suitable to post in this community.
You can see now my second post and I am really glad to be able to highlight this one, actually I was thinking about Booming support of the Steemit Team because this is one of the essential help that started by the Steemit Team in order to give support for the communities to establish but also to the community to provide instant support for their great authors who for one or another reason were not seen but deserve to be highlighted.
To start with, I saw a post that was recently posted by @malikusman1 about the Booming support that was stopped for Steem4Bloggers Community and that post was a call to reinstate the booming support. I will not cite all the post, if you are curious please visit it, unfortunately, it is not possible to support the post because it is 12 days old:
I do not know if there are nay people who do not know about this Initiative that is currently running by Steemit Team Booming Support Program. Time to time there is a new application process for communities to submit their application and there is a chance to be selected for the support program.
The last selection was 8 months ago and here is the post that you can visit to find our what communities are in the Booming Program at present:
*Recently the Steemit Team introducing a lot of new changes in curation process such as:
- Curators now allowed support users without #club entitlements
- curators can support users who using Upvote bots
- visit users who do not post from communities, therefore visiting tags and users blog directly
*Also for Engagement challenges from new Season it is now not strict sticking to any community but posting from anywhere when taking part in such challenges.
*Due to those changes I was wondering if it is a time to introduce new changes in the Booming Support Program too. In the past WOX was not able to take part in application process for Booming support because of some users using upvote bots but we still maintaining 25K+ subscribers and 300+ active users.
There are maybe some other communities that also would like to apply this time
Therefore, I would call for the Steemit Team to consider a new Application process for Booming support for Communities, it is time for new changes and for new communities to be supported.
Is there any other thoughts?
I can only share my opinion if it comes to who invests in this platform since that is -what should count most for a platform based on Steem.
What we all want is that Steem will grow stronger.
To me, investment is:
To me, WOX is one of the most successful communities with a clear topic which is admirable and makes them visible to those who search for a certain topic.
If it's the desire of WOX to be able to give Booming Upvotes I think it's not more than fair they can as well. No matter where or how the Steem is achieved it is invested in this platform and the members of WOX are active in many ways.
With you, I hope the Steemit Team will reconsider who to give these Booming votes since it feels as if those who invested most always miss the boat while those who invest less receive the profit (I read the link earlier)

Thank you for your feedback and to tell the truth for many who invested in Steem we have the same opinion, from beginning on we stake our own finance and we continue to keep what we have and not sell, removing the Steem from market, that is what is important less Steem on market the higher price will be. Bot system will give an interest for investors and we know that any investor is interested in profit, let them use the bot and enjoy their profit.
As to curation of users, it is not necessary to give a "whale" who gets $100+ for a post even more upvote with any Steemcurator account, it is better to use such votes for really good posts and for users who also invest in Steem but with their skills of writing, producing Visual Art, maybe other skills DIY, cooking and etc.
It is good to give everyone a niche where the person will feel comfortable and have an interest to stay and also to stake Steem into Steem Power.
By the way, thank you for your words about WOX, we are active beyond our community and also we support users all over the platform. I am glad that by now it is well known to many and we always happy to welcome anyone to join us.

Congrats on your feedback from sc02. What you just wrote should be a topic. I hope you can write it and explain what an upvotebot is (names) how it works, and the pros and contras - feel free to use a part of the text you just wrote.
I am looking forward to reading your topic only if we show, and discuss there's room for change.

As we can see, after a long time, a wave of change has finally come to the Steemit platform. And by giving importance to many suggestions, new experiments are in progress.
And at the same time, the point of Booming support is also very important. And just like there is no specific community restriction to participate in the engagement challenge,
I guess, it can be seen that most participation posts in the engagement challenge will be from communities where Booming support is available. Because if SC01 or 02 ignores, the chances of users getting benefits from Booming are higher. There is a need to keep a close eye on how communities use Booming votes fairly.
I think that Booming Support should be rotated among different communities over time. And , we can expect that applications for Booming Support will be open soon.( or May be in a Month or Two).
On one hand it is good to have changes but on other hand we get used to something routine and it is often beginnings are all hard because of time of adaption and finding the best feature for individuals.
Like you say, Booming support should be rotated among different communities, because there are many communities and it is good to have a chance for others to enjoy the benefits of Community support program.
The next review of Booming votes is already in planning.
Just waiting to see how it goes with the latest changes to the Community Curators and the Engagement Challenge.
That might be very busy time for your team, trying to freshened up and bring new waves, who knows that might help for users to also change themselves. By now we have seen that the core people from the time of establishment of Steemit activities remain stable, even though some people did Power Down on some stage but many returned back and being active continuing engaging and that is the main goal to let people know that they can get much if they invest their time or resources.
I am very excited about the future changes and who knows might get involved in some of them if time allows. Thanks again for taking time and reading the post but also update!
