SEC-S20W1: Who is a Programmer? What should you have done before to become a programmer in the future?

It feels good to be making and entry into this contest. I've always had this love for programming. I really do hope I get as much knowledge as possible in the next 5 weeks of this lesson. Thanks to @sergeyk for this week's intro task.
I don't think I will be able to forget in a haste of how I pushed to be a programmer few years back, I was just so adventurous and hungry to learn anything computer related. Trust me I got a place but finance cheated me... Hopefully, I would get back on track, i still have my hidden love for this course intact.
Programming is a very good skill or profession. It can be defined as the writing of code which most people fondly call coding. This code contains instruction that can be interpreted and executed by the computer.
A computer would only and always respond to codes that are accurately written with languages that are unique. Not just any language like the verbal one we speak..lol. It's a language that student who have knowledge of computer can understand.

A programmer is someone who writes, modify and test codes that enhance computer program functionality. These programs are what we now use to make our task easier and efficient. There are different field these folks can Funtion or find a career path, we would be discussing them in the next section.
Just as I introduced in the section before this, programmers have different field where they can function, we will be exploring them right away.
• Web developer: They could function as web developer. This means they are saddled with the responsibility of testing a site and evaluating it as well to ensure that it's up to standard even before it is launched and after launch, they continue to monitor, maintain it operation and fix any threat of challenge that the site might encounter.
•Computer programmer: Computer programmers are folks who write code and modify codes for software programs to enhance it functionality and keep it running without any challenge or errors like bug. Their goal is aways to meet client's need with their expertise.

• Systems analyst: These set of people understands the business side of technology as they offer business recommendation on personalized IT systems that meets clients needs. They could also help client conduct refined research that would help their organization.
• Programmer analyst: These folks are both analyst and programmer, so they combine both skill to render their service to client. It means they can design and create software programs and also oversee the writing of relevant codes needed to create a software program.
• Computer systems engineer: A programmer can also find a career path in this area. What is requested of them here is to improve the functionality on a client systems and also maintain and secure their client's privacy and data.
• Writing and testing code for new programs.
Programmer write codes for computer programs or even mobile applications. Yes! Mobile applications, there is a relationship between these stuffs. Most Programers also have idea about web design and UI/UX which focuses on giving a web site or mobile interface a great look.
• Updating existing programs.
Programmers do not only create code, they also install update for existing software program. This helps fix bugs or enhance functionality which heightens users experience. These update take quite a reasonable amount of time depending on the kind of problem to be fixed.
• Identifying and fixing coding errors.
Coding error in this field seems to be inevitable, errors in coding will lead to program malfunction. It is therefore the duty of a programmer to locate the error and fix it. This could be attempted by troubleshooting the program or website as the case may be and then eventually fix the error.

• Rewriting programs for different operating systems.
Here is another twist, some operating system do not support certain written code. What the programmer now has to do it to rewrite the code to make it sync and compatible with client's operating system. This then solve it.
• Cybersecurity service
This is another important role a programmer plays. There are so many malicious folks online looking for loops holes to penetrate systems. The programmer ensure that systems do not suffer breach. They can achieve this by writing program that strengthen the security system and also prevent leaks
I would recommend to anyone looking to venture into this field that they should at least have a basic knowledge of how a computer operate. It would go a long way in making their learning easy.
They could take it a step further by attending a technical school where they should practically learn about computer or better still go for a degree in computer science or engineering.
They should also join community where these stuffs are discussed, it would help fuel their desire to learn and excel in this field.
This should be my conclusion and final thought anyways. I believe programing is a viable skill, a highly sought-after skill as we are in the technological age where people wants to achieve task with easy. Programming is one of the ways to get this done.
Once you're able to meet the needs of your clients by writing and testing appropriate codes you would be rewarded for your service because you have also given value.

In general, it's good, but like everyone else, they didn't answer the main question either. Although the answer is in my text about this contest.
You write: "system analyst", "programmer-analyst", but what are they different from, or are they the same thing.
Some occupations, such as web developer and programmer, are described too broadly. You can add more details about specific technologies or tasks performed by specialists.
