Jewel Damselfly on Rotting Wood

Here I would like to come up with another species of damselfly that usually found swinging around the stream. Indeed, I saw a lot of this damselfly inhabit the forest near the river that was actually found perching on the twig near the concrete stairs. Seeing that, I decided to take its pictures using my smartphone and macro in which I could perceive the detail look of this colorful damselfly. This species of damselfly belonging to the family Chlorocyphidae that usually found swinging around the stream. I also saw some other damselflies inhabit the forest near the river and this one was actually found perching on the twig near the concrete stairs. Seeing that, I decided to take its pictures with a my smartphone, and macro device to have the closest look of this insect. Since it has smaller and slender body, I managed to look for possible angle so that it could be taken properly. This species is regarded as beautiful damselfly that mostly live throughout tropical countries. Look like a little dragonfly but it tends to be classified into damselfly.
