Celebrating Freedom : 14th August in the Heart of Pakistan

Today, 14 August 2024 ,people from all around the world who belong and represents our beloved country Pakistan are celebrating the Freedom and Independence day.
Today, is the day that marks the beloved birth of our country. I am happy and pleased to tell that our country is now 77 years old.

How Citizens Show Their Love for the Nation

Different peoples have different ways of enjoying the Independence day.
Schools ,Colleges and work places are usually off today but they have functions and events one day before .Where they start ,by singing the Qoomi tarhana or the National Anthem of Pakistan along with other motivational songs.

Usually the elders celebrate by wearing white and green dresses wearing symbolic bracelets and pin clutches. Taking lot of pictures with there loved ones and enjoying the moment while eating something good and sweet.

The children's play BAJAA or musical toys all day and night ,they wear themed clothes, caps and t-shirts that have Pakistan flags designed on it. This truly shows there love for the country.

How I Embraced Pakistan’s Independence Day

My sister office was having a 14 august celebration and I went with her. The celebration was amazing.

They had the whole office decorated with green and white balloons. The entrance was decorated with a lot of fancy balloons that guides inside the office. Each and everyone was dressed up in either white or green themed color. And all the employees came with there siblings and the married ones came with there children's. The office was decorated very nicely.

A pizza party for all the employees ,and the staff was arranged and the National Anthem and other representative songs were playing at the background in a loop.

They distributed tiny pin clutches embellish with Pakistan flag to everyone. Making sure that each one of us have symbol of national pride with us.

After, all of us were finished with our meals , we all gather on the 5th floor where they had a separate set up for the occasion to cut the Independence day cake.

The cake was so beautiful and cleanly decorated for the occasion. All the managers, seniors and the CEO proceeded to cut the cake.

So, this is how I spend the day enjoying freedom and independence.

Honoring Our Heroes

It could never have been possible without the contribution of great Pakistan leaders .The founders and leaders Quaid-e-Azam, Allamah Iqbal, Sir Syed ,Liaquat Ali Khan*, Fatima Jinnah, the 2 brothers Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar, Maulana Shaukat Aliand the list goes on.

And The contribution of our ancestors who sacrificed there sleeps ,freedom, families all for the sake of Pakistan. For us so that we can have restful sleeps at night, so that we can live a peaceful life free of disturbance.

Sharing the Beauty and Strength of Pakistan with the World

For a platform like Steemit where people with different mindsets and different personalities ,nationalities, culture ,ethics and religions are present. I want to represent my country and let other know how much "MEHMAN NAWAZ" or Hospitable we are.

We are fun loving and humorous people. We love to greet others with respect. Hence ,We love visitors from all around the world.
Conclusively, We are the people who are willing to do anything for the sake of our country, Pakistan.
