Phaleoba fumosa

The morning atmosphere felt warm as I walked around the backyard. I didn't forget to bring my cellphone complete with a macro camera. Yes, my goal was only to take pictures and hunt insects in the grass.

Not long after, a small brownish animal appeared. I watched the animal carefully. It turned out to be a grasshopper flying and jumping on a small tree branch.

This animal looks unique because it has a brown color. This color covers almost its entire body.

This grasshopper prefers to relax in the bushes while waiting for prey. If we don't pay close attention, this animal is very difficult to detect because its color resembles the color of branches.

This animal is also very easy to photograph because it is not too aggressive. Usually this grasshopper will stay in one place and will not easily move even if we approach it.

Unfortunately I didn't have much time to take pictures, plus the strong wind made it difficult for me to take pictures of this beautiful animal. Below are some of the pictures I managed to capture.
