Little knowledge of EGGON

Hello, welcome to my blog; how have you been? It's always a pleasure meeting you on this platform, and I love you with all that lives in me. I am grateful that you stop by.

One thing I realize about culture is that despite being educated and well-known by society and Nation our people never forget about our culture.

We practice our culture at every given opportunity and it is well organized and beautiful our maiden always wears these beautiful attires each time they are getting married and our Men dress in costume which attracts the heart of the maidens of our land

It's been ages but I still see the dancing steps even though it has been modernized but still give the same beating and the same dance systems I am so grateful that I belong to this special language called EGGON, history has told me that our people has been living on the mountain before the coming of the missionary who bring about

Light and education to our community and society and that makes our people passionate about Western education the full meaning of a (EGGON is hills made by hause)we are centralized in the North central of Nigeria in Nasarawa state, we are well known by hardworking in every aspect of life through the hardship and through the luxury time we are always up for what is good.

After persistence of the missionary has given them an awareness of socialization and how to live in a well-known environment and be educated and most of our people have received education and have passed the intelligence down to generations which we are benefiting today, I just wonder if only the missionaries did not intervene with could have been born on the mountain top surrounding by animals of a different kind

I had a story that there was a lot of meat by hunters and our forefathers enjoyed life to the fullest even though they never knew anything about socialization

They give out to their children in marriage according to culture and tradition there is no restriction of marriage to the neighbouring language because our people are loving and socialised people who stretch forth their hands in love to others to build a lasting relationship

There is another thing that is unique about my people which is the butter beans before a marriage could be sealed between the two families these butter beans must be presented before the groom and the Bride will be pronounced as husband and wife and without these beans their married might face difficulty and calamity because of the absent of this cultural beans
