"Weekly Contest 14 || The Diary Game || How The Nigeria Match at Akwa Ibom Stadium Revive My Weekend."

Dear Diary,
Saturday marks my weekend so well with interesting emotions.
I was a bit feeling dizzy and bored but then something happened that triggered out bored-ness and immediately transformed my day to joy.
"Below are my day activities."

My Morning Routine.

just after a wake by early hours of the day, I rush in to doing my daily tasks of sweeping around my compound, after that being done, I fetched water for my laundry and then set my room.
After some hours, I take my breakfast 🥞 and relax till noon.

My Afternoon.

Just as the clock handle strike 12:00 pm, I was already beginning to feel bored 😴 because my weekend was not busy and so engaging.
But we'll I decide to check in to my social handles, though I was aware of the AFCON Qualifiers match between NIGERIA AND BENIN REPUBLIC here in Uyo, at Akwa Ibom State Stadium 🏟️, this was when the social air of Facebook reminds me of the match and i feel i must watch the match.

But where do I get and purchase my entry ticket, this was another barrier to me, and i was thinking maybe i won't make it to the stadium because ticket was sold a day before the match day and this means I have less chances of entry because finding a place to get the tickets now that everyone were so busy and focused on the match was nothing to matched with. The road was so busy and so hard to find a vehicle 🚜 to your destination.

• After my hesitation, I decide to ask a friend on Facebook where to buy my match tickets, to my greatest surprise! he told me that entrance is free and I should come because he is in already. looking at my time it was already Done few minutes passed 4 pm and I have less minutes to reach the stadium before 5pm. I rush bathroom, take a shower 🚿, jump in to my dress I feel comfortable, brush 🖌️ up my hair and make sure I look good, I dash out to the highway in search of vehicle, though it was hard but I find one and the prices has skyrocket again but i had no choice of taking chances.

At The Akwa Ibom State Stadium.

Immediately! I find myself in the stadium gate, it has many entrance gate and the driver drop us at the end route, which we have to walked some meters to where we will find another entrance gate, I was bittered for not using the first one which was close but I was not the only one, so I joined the crowd, but hey something did happen! do you know? well let share with you, I found a new friend which we walked together to the stadium, sit together and return back together, the surprising thing to me is that she's a lady that loves football and so much emotional attached to it. I was surprised because it had to find ladies of such now, most women don't seems to love football, but she did and had to sit and cheer while supporting our country together.

• After gaining entrance, the first thing on my mind was where we have to sit such we can get a good and nice view of not missing even one but if the energy and things happening. my best suggested place was already filled and we had to use another where it was still cool to watch from.

The match has already start before we seat, so I had to check the score board and find out we are just few minutes behind Time and the scores was still level.
Looking at our lineup, the starters and bench, it was an amazing one from coach Austin.

Our star man Victor Osimhen was benched while his seconder victor Boniface start ahead of him. though Nigeria has many star players on the pitch, I'm talking the likes of Lookman, Chukwueze who made the front so sharp, while the Caption, Troost EKONG, Ayayi, Calvin Bassey and Onyeamachi makes the back so solid and definitely a clean sheet was recorded. the first half was amazing and Ademola Lookman gave Nigeria the lead.

The second half, Benin Republic were pressing to equalize but the Nigerian Defense and Goal Keeper Stanley Nwabali make sure everywhere was safe, soon victor Boniface who misses many chances was replaced with Victor Osimhen the hitman, in just 6 minutes the current African best player scored to double the lead, And too Dele who replaces Iwobi in the midfield played an impactful part in the game while seen everywhere.
Then when I was thinking the scores are sealed, Ademola Lookman makes it three goals for Nigeria while completing his brace.

the stadium was nothing to be compared to, the noise, joy and feeling was extraordinary for the Nigerians.

• After the match ends, the players all greeted themselves and walked down to greet the fans as well, Ademola Lookman was announced the Man of the Match, and it all ended.
  Me and my new found friend walked out the stadium gate to a dark night awaiting us while finding our nearest route back home.

This day was really what sparks up light to my weekend and I wish @fortwis09 and @bossj23 was there to witness this feelings too.
