Steeming Community Contest | "Your Story" I LOVE MY FAMILY
This is a story of a family in a Palace. Father King , Mother Queen , Prince and Princess. The King is the head of the Family; He provides everything Mother Queen and Prince and Princess wants and needs. From food on the table and shelter to live. Mother Queen is the is the disciplinarian, the teacher, financial advisor, the jack of all trades for the family.
One day, Mother Queen told Princess that she will teach every household chore from clothes laundry, cleaning the house and cooking. Mother Queen called Princess that they will start with the cooking lessons.
Mother Queen: Princess, come here in the kitchen. I will teach you how to cook.
But Princess does not want to learn because for her it is very tiresome and thought that she has her mother who is always there for them to cook their delicious meal.
Princess: Mother, I don’t like cooking. It is very hard for me. And also I know you are always here for us and you are the best cook for me and our family.
Mother Queen: Princess, I know I am the best cook for our family and you love to eat what I cooked for the family. But this is not for me, this is for you. You have to learn so that someday when you are at the right age and have your own family like me, you can also serve them with a delicious and healthy meal.
Princess: But mother, if I grow up and have my own family I can hire a cook for us and not waste my time cooking. I can use more of my time earn a living for my own family.
Mother Queen: Yes, you can hire a cook for your future family. But cooking and serving your family out of Love will make a meal more delicious and tasty. And it is not a waste of time, Quality Time spent with Family is the most precious Gift they will treasure. Just what I did to our family, I spent more quality time with you, your brother and also with Father King.
Princess: Thank you Mother for telling that to me. And the more I LOVE YOU to the moon and back. And from now on even though I am still young I will listen more of your teachings and I know someday I will be more thankful for guiding me.
Mother Queen: I LOVE YOU MORE MY PRINCESS as well as our family. I will give my everything for our family. And Oh! We should start now our lesson my dear Princess. And I forgot where is your little brother Prince?
Princess: Mother, he’s in the bathroom and I think he is being naughty again.
Mother Queen went to the bathroom looking for Little Prince.
Little Prince: Mother, please help me put in my pants. I don’t know how. Pleaaaasssseee…. (Smiling and running around)
Mother Queen: You’re such a naughty boy Little Prince; I already teach you how to do it. And don’t run. How can I do this? ( Playful)
Little Prince: But Mother, Pleasseee ( twinkling eyes).
Mother Queen: I know what you are thinking my Little Prince, you just want to play with me. Come here my baby, let’s play. But first you have to listen to your mother. You must learn to do it by yourself and be responsible.
Little Prince: Yes mother, I am listening and I LOVE YOU.
Mother Queen: I LOVE YOU TOO MY SON.
Father King comes home. And he knows that Mother Queen is already tired from the household work. It’s weekend and he wanted to surprise MOTHER QUEEN for a vacation.
Father King: Mother Queen, How are you? I know you are tired from all the works in our family.
Mother Queen: I’ll never get tired and I am doing everything because I LOVE OUR FAMILY. And I know that the LOVE OF FAMILY is my Life’s Greatest Gift from Heavens Above.
Father King: I love our Family too. Our family is my Greatest Treasure too. And with this we all need a Happy Vacation. You need a Vacation to pamper yourself.
Father King called Princess and Prince to pack their things because they are all going to a vacation.
The kids are so happy and told Mother Queen that they will be packing their things all by themselves because they want their mother to have time for herself too.
LOVE, DISCIPLINE, RESPECT AND HARDWORK starts at Home. Parents are the first teacher and guide to their children. Give them quality time to LEARN, PLAY AND ENJOY.

In the family it's really nice to hear if the father is very responsible .Every time he goes home he greets his wife. Even from work he understood that his wife's job was not easy either.
