Assalamuwalaikum. Greetings, Steem Nations folks. Today was a busy day for me. Today, I went to a clinic for my 11-week-old son's EPI vaccination. Let's talk about that.

Today, I woke up as early as I could. Usually, I went to sleep after 01:00 AM in my local time for my job. The previous day wasn’t different. Normally, I wake up at 09:00 AM at the morning. Due to my son's vaccination schedule, I woke up at 08:00 AM. My wife was busy feeding my baby. I was about to check my activities on my mobile. After getting fresh, we completed our breakfast fast and got ready to go to the clinic. It was exactly 09:00 AM when we found our-self on an Auto Rikshaw.

However, my son is just 11 weeks old, and he likes journeys, but I do not like journeys. He was calm and enjoying the view. It was a short trip, just 20 minutes. I almost forgot to add some information. Yesterday, 18th September, we went to the same clinic for the same reason, but it was evening. They informed me that the vaccination was available before 01:30 PM local time every day. So we had to head back.

After collecting tokens, we head to the vaccination center. Like every day, it was crowded with newborn babies and their mothers or others. I offered my wife to sit and get some rest, and I stood for the form to complete. It was a little line; only five of us were standing. There were a lot of parents waiting after they completed their forms. Waiting for their turns.

After a twenty-minute wait, our turn came, and my wife went to the vaccine table. I, or any other man, was not allowed to go there, and I liked it. However, the vaccination was completed and we were about to return home.

Ashulia Women and Children Hospital is an NGO hospital that provides quality treatment. Especially women and children. With low cost, it is a massive help for people who are fighting poverty. Also, vaccination is another major responsibility they took. We are thankful to the WHO and the UN, for giving EPI Vaccine for free. May I vaccinate my son with money, not everyone in my country would do that if there were a fee!

When we were searching for an Auto Rickshaw, the one who brought us here, came to us and told us that he was waiting for us. I replied with a smile and got in. He dropped us at our home. He was friendly and helpful. May Allah bless him.

After vaccination, as an immediate effect, my son got a fever, and as a pharmacist, I was prepared for that. Gave him his required Paracetamol dose. He suffered a lot with fever all the day. It was heartbreaking to take that. But I know, I must show some patience in this case. I hope you will keep my son in your prayers. That was for today.
