Film of the week - Life is Great

Is life great or is it what we say to make people continue? The bitter truth is life isn't great if you lose someone you love dearly and it's not a comfort there is still a person left you love and who needs you. This short film shows the reality many face. One parent is left, and has to move out, start new, and make ends meet. It's a hard task for the single parent to continue and juggle between the loss (not being able to grieve), the care of a child, and the worries about a life without a partner.
The child is still young and observes. Remember a certain situation about her Dad. This scene is long enough to see what's wrong with him although we don't know why he died. Like many children, do they try to make themselves invisible but also at the same time make their mom feel better because a sad mom is a sad child which the mirror shows.

Not a happy topic or video to watch but it's good to see taboo topics are not ignored. The single parent and the child should watch this and crying together is no shame.
