Today, September 20th, 2024, the vibrant city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, played host to a spectacular Fashion Week. Which run for 2 days, starting on 20th - 21st, proudly represented by Akwa Ibom State Government. The highly anticipated events took place at the prestigious IBUP Hall (IBOM HALL), kicking off at 5:00 p.m. sharp.

The fashion extravaganza was specifically designed to commemorate , Akwa Ibom Day, celebrating the rich culture heritage and diversity of akwa ibom state. The event brought together the créme de la créme of the fashion industry, lifestyle enthusiasts and A-list celebrities from across Nigeria and beyond.

The star-studded gathering included renowned personalities such as Nancy Isime, the stunning host of Big Brother Africa, and Ebuka Obi- Uchendu, the charismatic Media personality. Music sensations and politicians also dressed the occasion, lending gear support to the celebration of Akwa Ibom's unique identity.

The event showcased an array of talented models strutting down the catwalk, adorned in breathtaking outfits crafted by local and international designer. The fashion showcased highlighted the fusions of traditional Akwa Ibom attires with modern styles, reflecting the state rich culture legacy.
