Looking good is a good business 14/09/24

Greetings! Fellow entrepreneurs

The present situation of my country has changed everything completely and no matter how high the prices of things in the market, there are still people who would patronise those goods irrespective of the prices.

I took about 3 months thinking on how to plait a good hair with an attachment to look beautiful but the prices of an attachment ( wig) is quiet expensive now and because I kept the hair for so long, it started having under growing hairs which is making my hair stronger the more. So, I decided to wash and stretch the hair in a saloon.

After having my hair neatly washed and stretched, I decided to sit back and ask of the prices of attachments because it has been a long time I plait a good hair. She said the smaller attachment costs ₦4,000 which is steem equivalent to 16 steem and the big one costs ₦6,500 which is steem equivalent to 26 steem.

I was so speechless because the last time I plait my hair with an attachment, the smaller one costs ₦1,800 naira which is equivalent to 7.2 steem while the big one costs ₦2,500 which is steem equivalent to 10 steem.

I took that courage to sit down and allow the saloon business woman to make a good hairstyle for me. The style I told her is the one in the above picture, I knew I was looking beautiful with my knew hairstyle and I noticed that nomatter how costly an attachment is, women will always buy it to be used on their hair to look good.

I just noticed that, looking good is a very good business that our little children can start learning how to plait because women must go extramiles to look good. Despite the cost of all, I still had to pay for everything. The total money I spent at the saloon from the table above was ₦13,800 which is steem equivalent to 55.2 Steem.

I was the customer and I knew very well that she is in her business. Please dear parents and everyone reading this piece of article, let's be encouraged to push our children and younger ones into learning handwork like saloon, pattern drafting, sewing, designing, shoe making, make-up etc Infact these handworks I mentioned above are things that people cannot do without.

Enrolling children in learning handworks would fetch them money in the future and not just school and studies because presently, to get jobs in my part of the world is never easy. Wether we like it or not especially when it has to do with a woman's hair follow by her looks in the clothes she wears. Do you know that every woman's pride is her beauty?
