Bees perform the duties of men in agriculture, it is impossible to produce fruit naturally without bees, so it can be said that the presence of bees in agriculture is taken as a blessing. I thank the @Steem-Agro community for publishing such a title. This community will be important for mass promotion of agriculture and for improved agriculture. I invite you @suborna03 @shahid76 @shohana1 to participate in this title.

What is the work and role of bees in agriculture?

In agriculture, bees perform the duties of men. Agriculture cannot turn flowers into crops without bees (though pollination is now done artificially) just as a girl can give birth alone. Farmers have to take artificial help as the number of bees decreases. Each crop produces flowers before fruiting, and the female bees transfer pollen to those flowers to perform important tasks such as fruit and seed production. Many agricultural crops benefit from bee pollination, resulting in increased yields and better quality produce.

Which crops are most likely to depend on "bees" and why?

I'm not talking about other countries whose crops in my country are pollinated by bees and depend on bees.

Litchi During the litchi season, litchi orchard owners in our country bring many commercial beekeepers to set up bee boxes in their orchards, thereby benefiting both, some grow the fruit and others collect honey.
Mustard The highest commercial use of bees in our country is in the mustard field where bee cultivation increases the yield of mustard similarly it is economically beneficial through the collection of honey. Also vegetables, oilseeds national crops sunflower , nuts, various orchards are highly dependent on bees to grow fruit. The use of bees is very important for sustainability in agriculture.

How do bees contribute to global food security?

Pollination is essential for the formation of fruit from flowers, which is carried out by bees. Bee pollination increases crop production which helps to become self-sufficient in food. As a result of natural pollination, the use of pesticides is reduced, thereby increasing the quality of food, while farmers produce at a lower cost. Food produced by natural bee pollination is safer and more adulterated than chemical pollination. Bee-pollinated crops provide almost essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals, thus contributing to overall well-being. Raising and protecting bees is critical to the future of global food security.

Briefly discuss the economic value of contribution of bees to agriculture?

Before I acknowledge the economic contribution of bees to agriculture, let me tell a story.
Onion is grown in our country and there are many farmers who produce seeds but when onion flower is pollination time there is a shortage of bees many bring commercial beekeepers but it is not possible for everyone so many seed farmers pollinate onion flowers by hand. It becomes very expensive.

Pollination by bees reduces the use of artificial or chemical fertilizers by the farmer, which benefits the farmer economically. Beekeeping is an agricultural part of our country where many flowers bloom during winters especially when vegetables are grown where commercial beekeepers set up bee boxes and collect honey. At that time, many people are doing online business to directly supply pure honey to everyone, thereby creating jobs and enriching the economic cycle. Pollination by bees is a boon for agriculture Sustainable agricultural practices by increasing bee populations are essential to sustain it.

The economic value of bees is many as it is economically beneficial as well as helps to produce chemical free food.
