An Autumn Stroll Through the Beautiful Berici Hills: Nature, Vineyards, and Scenic Views
Hello, friends of this wonderful community! How are you all? Around here, the temperature has dropped noticeably. Fortunately, after many months of heat, now we have more bearable temperatures, around 20 degrees. So, just yesterday, I decided to go on a lovely walk, still quite close to my home, in the beautiful Berici Hills, which are located near the city of Vicenza. I did a route that I’ve probably done several times before, and I’ve shared it here in the community. However, as I always say, each walk brings new feelings and emotions, so you never get tired of repeating it. This 10 km route, which took me about two hours, brought me to the top of these hills, which are about 400 meters high. I have to say it’s always wonderful to come up here because you always enjoy a beautiful view. As you could see in the initial photos, I started my walk near a villa. There are quite a few of them in this area of the Vicenza province. This one is Villa Ca' del Ferro. From there, I took a path that led me to the top of the hill. The trails weren’t the easiest to walk, but even though they were challenging, I enjoyed them. Moreover, when I reached the summit, I also found some goats. I’m not sure if they were part of a farm or if they were wild, but at first, I thought they were ibexes. However, after looking closely, I saw they were goats, probably grazing freely here. Along this route, I also passed through some vineyards. In fact, I shared photos of the grapes, which are almost ripe and likely ready for harvest soon. I hope you enjoyed all the photos, and I’ll see you in the next post. I wish you all a happy Sunday!
