Dedicate the new year to the child God.

The baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a manger, where he ate oxen and mules; There cannot be a more humble place than that, it is a tradition of the family and the grandparents and now we all make the manger each pipe.

The manger is a tradition that has been celebrated in Venezuela since ancient times, it happily represents the birth of a baby God named Jesus in Bethlehem surrounded by animals and a conuco

It is a very humble environment, humanly it reflects love, family union and peace, the Andean manger shows the little houses, waterfalls, lagoons, mountains and colored lights, highlighting the creativity of its creators and the warm touch of our mountains is made notice year after year.

From January 2 to February 2, children and adults with their lit candles, with great joy, approach the manger to participate in the paradura, prayed, sung, and walked the paradura of the child in the Venezuelan Andes.

The violin, the cuatro and the maracas make the music in the paradura, the folkloric verses that are sung in these joyous festivities, with fireworks and mortars are part of the celebration outside the house.

Before the paradura some very native waltzes of the region are played, some characteristic passages of the Andean region.

This is our tradition, our culture, what we are and I look forward to what we will be in the future.
