A small event happened today, calmly and routinely. Today I reached the milestone of 30,000 SP. I came to the platform 7 years ago. It probably looks sad and even a little ridiculous. I spent a lot of time on the platform, which I could have spent on family, work or traveling. I tried to attract the attention of whales. I painted pictures, wrote prose, talked about travels... I just didn’t sing or dance, because I have no ear for music.
I witnessed flag wars. I remember the struggle for high-quality content. I witnessed a change in the owner of the platform...
Time flies. 7 years have passed. I met interesting people on the platform. I saw some of them in real life.
Today, the steem has become completely different. No one paints pictures here anymore. Different songs are sung here today. Statistics reign here

My guess, 30k in 7 years is not too much, it could be better. But everything is relative, some ships are better than others - having their chimneys higher and the smoke thicker, etc etc. (William Thackeray have described the collision so well in his classic 'Vanity Fair' novel, sadly I don't remember the exact quote). I would say - having such a Steem Power, its time to delegate now, and earn lazily on delegation as I noticed many steemians used to do this. Right?

This is a great milestone you’ve achieved. Getting to 30ksp. It isn’t easy. I remember the flag wars, it wasn’t fun at all. That period I used to be scared of commenting on any whale or dolphins post because those set of people and their followers seem to be the target… you see people delegating steem or buying more steem just to take revenge on people who flagged or downvoted their work!!
But things have changed now. Steem is a lot more peaceful and steady now!!
At some point, I left Steemit around 2020 and i just recently started again last year. In fact, this month will make me a year since i returned. But in your own case you remained and have actually built a big name and Steem power for yourself.
How were you able to remain so consistent without even taking a break this 7 years??
