It's another day to participate in an amazing contest hosted in this community by @memamun which talks about Equal dignity and importance of men and women. I found this contest very interesting and for that reason, I have decided to share my participation.

Is the contribution of men and women equal in society or is the contribution of men more than women❓

In the African context, the contribution is mostly done by men and that is the reason why a woman will have to leave her parent's house and come to the house of the man and then also drop her surname to bear the surname of the man.

Women in Africa always depend on the man for most things they need and that is why the men are seen as the most contributors. Always when a woman needs anything they go to the men for what they need even when they have their own.

So because of all these and the men being the head of the house, that is the reason why men are seen as the best contributors when compared to women.

Who do the people of your country prefer women or men and why?? Or do they give equal importance to women and men ❓

Men are highly regarded here in my country. As a key African country, the norms and values are always promoted so much here. Women give complete reverence to their husbands because he is the head of the house.

Women and men are not regarded as the same people because in my country men are seen as the leaders of the family. So women have trained their minds so much to accept this fact and it is one thing that keeps them and their families the most.

A man's life is hard without a woman, and a woman's life is hard without a man, what do you think ❓

A man needs a woman and a woman also needs a man so they both compliment themselves as no one is more important than the other. All of them can only function together and move forward if they agree with each other.

I think that women and men need themselves always to enable them collaborate and leave together and also grow together. As you know, a man can't be completely happy without a woman and a woman also can't always be happy without a woman. They all need to compliment each other.

Every man should respect women, and every woman should respect men, do you agree, why ❓

Respect they say is reciprocal, if you want to be respected you must learn to respect another person. It is only when you respect people that you will get respect so I want to say here that a man should respect a woman and a woman also must learn to respect a man.

If there is respect between the man and they woman you will notice that the marriage will grow and that the people will be happy thereafter. So respect is an important aspect that everyone needs to take into consideration.
