YOU LOOK TOO SERIOUS

in #health7 years ago

So grateful to you stopping by to check on this article. Actually this bantam and painful article was inspired by one of my course mates who is just some little months over 20 years but looks old already as a result of too much seriousness towards her academic activities. She’s a bookworm, nerd, sanguine about only her academics and always frowns. She can frown for today and tomorrow.

But when I say seriousness, what do I mean?
You forget to smile in a day because you think you’re very serious or some times you are depressed, tired, confused, rejected, condemned, betrayed or in a critical monetary deficiency. You frown because you think it is the way to help you focus or to show your level of seriousness to your friends and enemies. Smiling is erased from your dictionary because you feel too big to smile and no one around you seems to be your age mate. You are capitally WRONG. Let us look at the health benefits of smiling.

HEALTH DIVIDENDS OF SMILING
The benefits of smiling often include:

  1. STRESS RELIEF: Are you aware that smiling often, whether you’re happy or not aids your body to deal with stress more effectively? Smile yields a lower heart rate during a stressful task. Yes, you may be stressed up but your stress will double because of that face that has refused to smile and don’t forget, stress causes high blood pressure. So who is losing now?

  2. LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE: As clearly stated earlier, you can develop high blood pressure just by refusing to smile (laugh). Smiling (laughing) causes first an increase in heart rate, immediately accompanied by a period of muscle relaxation and a corresponding decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, which greatly assists to reduce your risk of developing heart disease. Please smile.

  1. IMPROVED IMMUNE FUNCTION: Whether you like it or not, laughter which starts as smile is meant to help boost your immune system. Laughter releases signaling molecules in your brain that fight stress and illnesses, while the other kind of face you like carrying decreases your body’s immunity.

  2. LONG LIFE: please if you want to live long, learn to smile. A 2010 study found that smiling and positive emotions are associated with increased life spans. Talk to yourself now about a reason to smile.

  3. MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER: Even if there was no single benefit of smiling, I believe everyone wants to be forever young. You look younger when you smile and from series of studies conducted around the world and different times, the opposite of smiling makes one look older than his/her age. R. I. P to those that have lost their lives frowning.

  4. BETTER RELATIONSHIP: Personally I’m a kind of guy who hates ladies that frown. They frown and repel me and other good things that intended coming their way. Your smile lights up a lamp in someone’s heart. This lamp reminds one of the others smiling face and results in a stronger relationship. You want to be approached, smile. You want to be liked, smile. You want to be loved, then smile.

Never forget that smiles are free and it make you look more attractive and happier. It costs you absolutely nothing to smile or perhaps to laugh. Remember it takes more muscles to frown than to smile.
You can lose that job, money, contract confidence or any important thing because you have sworn never to be smiling regularly.
Resort today to start smiling and make sure you laugh when you need to but make it very often.
Smile and get approached. Smile and be liked. Smile and get loved. Smile and live long. Do you really want to live forever young? Then learn to smile as even a fake smile can still do the magic.
