Who will be Chelsea's #9?
Chelsea have started out the season well under new manager Maurizio Sarri. The so-called Sarriball style of play has garnered a lot of support, but there is just one problem. The team currently does not have that one striker that can consistently score. Here are the players that could fill the role for the rest of this season:
Current Chelsea players:
Callum Hudson-Odoi - The 18-year-old has shown incredible potential. But lack of playing time means he will be tempted to leave Chelsea, with Bayern Munchen ready to offer him the number 10 jersey if he decides to join this winter. Here is a more detailed look at Hudson-Odoi 's top strengths.
Olivier Giroud - The French striker has proved he can play in a World Cup winning side, but has been largely ineffective in front of goal. he is likely to remain second choice for the central striker position.
Alvaro Morata - He has played for some of the biggest teams in Europe, but a lack of efficiency and a proposed deal to Sevilla, could spell an end to his career at Chelsea.
Possible new arrivals:
Gonzalo Higuain - Chelsea are said to be in talk with the Argentinian as we speak. Higuain has made a name for himself for teams like Real, Juventus and Napoli. Provided the Blues are ready to pay his salary, he could be a great choice.
Edinson Cavani- One of the most successful strikers in recent season, Cavani may consider a new challenge and a move away from Mbappe and Neymar's shadows.
Mauro Icardi - The striker is in top form, but he is unlikely to want to leave Inter Milan at this stage in his career.

I think Cavani will join Chelsea
I think that could be a good idea for everyone involved. Cavani is still at his peak, would need a new challenge and could get the attention he deserves, which he may not get at PSG considering he has to fight Mbappe and Neymar for it. The real question. I think, is whether Neymar is considering leaving. If that's the case, then I don't think PSG are going to want to sell Cavani.
