This is all nothing but theater and distraction from the real problem.
Is there any other way to censor millions of users, billions of daily posts other than with AI? I doubt that.
Censorship itself is the LEAST problem.
What is far more sinister is the depth of analysis they can already perform with just a few "likes".

In a nutshell, they can with just a few clicks create a personality profile of each user which is extremely accurate and can predict if you are a "High Risk" individual. The "pre-crime" idea becomes reality.
And they ARE working on a thought-reading interface, this is confirmed and documented, not theory.
They have started to perform "wellness checks" on some individuals, people are already going to jail for "hate speech" in Europe.
This is not about selling your phone number and your friends list to advertisers anymore or to manipulate Trump supporters.
This is about absolute and total control.
India's rolling out the first official pre-crime police program soon.

True, then again most people aren't doing anything wrong so they don't tend to care if the government whips up how many family reunions you have and who had the best recipes.
Here is the problem for anyone who does not anything "wrong": With just a few "likes" they can COMPLETELY assess your personality and make judgements based on that. Example: They could determine that you might be a reckless driver or live an unhealthy lifestyle and based on that, your insurance goes up or might be declined. You can check out for yourself what your profile is if you like...

Thanks! Yes you did say government. It applies of course to the government as well. You might lose privileges like owning a gun, educating your children or driving a car as well, based on your personality and predicted behavior and not by actual misdeeds. (People go to jail for "hate speech" in Europe) FB already works on an interface to read your thoughts. No joke, look it up. The possibilities are endless. And usually it is the case that if something CAN be abused, it WILL BE.
FB hasn't loaded my feed with new content for 5 days now and when I try to refresh it the same things I have already seen and liked appear. I tried to scroll down as far as it would go and the same exact post appeared one after the other literally dominating my whole feed. It was very creepy and I couldn't comment on any of the posts either. It seems they don't want me on FB anymore speaking truth and exposing lies.
