Blockchain Battles: EOS vs. Ethereum and Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash [VIDEO]
What’s the next step in the evolution of blockchain tech? The crypto world is burgeoning faster than most thought possible and I’m proud to be here on the cutting-edge along with many other freethinkers.
That’s why I was pleased to speak with Rafael LaVerde for the latest edition of Anarchast, where we discussed the upcoming launch of EOS and how it compares to Ethereum, as well as the ongoing Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash debate, scaling issues, prediction markets, and so much more.
If you’re unfamiliar, EOS is a new blockchain architecture and cryptocurrency aiming to handle millions of transactions per second. The software has the potential to eliminate user fees and allow for quick and easy deployment of decentralized applications.
It features a unique system of ‘governance’ where the blockchain’s direction and evolution can be voted on by owners of EOS tokens, preventing abuse by any single rogue figurehead.
I’m excited about the philosophy behind EOS because it’s really poised to be a robust free-market platform with more smart contract elements.

PoS systems tend to be more centralized than PoW systems. In steem e.g., the top 1% own 80% of all steem (source: https://steemwhales.com/).

Thanks for the tip back in July 2017... I took your advice back then and purchased 1,000 EOS for about $2/EOS.
Earlier this month (May) I did some swing trading with it and it's now 1,038 EOS + some BNB + some SALT at $12.33/EOS.

Another great interview Jeff and what fantastic insights Rafael gives on EOS n ETH / BTC n BCH. I fully agree with Rafael that the teams of BTC and BCH should work together towards developing privacy of these coins instead of having petty rivalries and unnecessary competition. Wouldn't a CPU limited distributed* digital currency be best for humanity? Decentralization of currency is closer to centralization than distribution as it always involves capitalist greed. Money should simply be a system of measure, money should be worthless.. CPU mining leaves the variable to the WiFi/internet connection stability and speed and creates miner equality.
I’m not a troll , or a shill but JEFF you did move out of USA corporation . And I think thats pretty cowardly leaving us instead of fighting along side us . But to me smart devices are just toys , and when these monsters want to they’ll pull the plug , and leave us all standing there frantically pressing our touch screens hoping it will turn back on . I explore NIGHTMARE scenarios just for kicks . My MOS was Intelligence in the armed FARCE . And I could really help you in ways prepers can’t . You see the mind is truly complex , and like any game of strategy you have to anticipate the others moves . My best guess says they won’t go away quietly into the night . And don’t forget ISRAEL 🇮🇱 has an undetermined amount of nuclear weapons , and they are the enemy no matter what BULLSHIT is pumped out there . They have this last resort action called “THE SAMPSON OPTION”. According to intelligence reports in a scenario were they’re being overrun then they would release all of their nuclear weapons at once . Some targets could include USA corporation, and Europe . So you wouldn’t be safe there in beautiful sunny Mexico 🇲🇽 . And don’t take this as il will . Just facts I need to take into account when I put together worse case scenarios in my little projects I’m conducting . I’ve always loved puzzles , and putting models together . The brain is magnificent if you feed it right .
