RE: New Release of DTube 0.2 for Steemit - A Conversation with DTube Creator @heimindanger

in #dtube7 years ago (edited)

dtube is potentially one of the most exciting things to have happened to the internet in the last 10 years, if it goes the way we are all hoping it will and launches fully in the mainstream to rival Youtube then it will be a game changer ...... the catch 22 though is how to police it, on the one hand you want it to be fully decentralised on the otherhand we all know that there are some vids out there that have no place on cyber space, where is the balance ..... thats where critical thinking comes in

Yeah man I'm really excited about it, as well. The balance will be key. I don't want it to become a place where people post fucked up shit.

Yes, and balance is the key as you say. But who determines what and how. That is the issue that should be politely discussed. Thank you for stopping by.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. Most reasonable people want free speech. However, we also know that there are other videos that are contemptible and we don't want them. I think that @heimindanger has a good approach. Thank you for sharing what you said. Right on target!
