Sketch Card Saturday!! Week #1

in #drawing7 years ago

Years ago I had this idea to sketch on the back of my business cards to make each one unique and to show off my style.

Today, I've decided to post my favorite sketch cards every Saturday.

Hey thanks a lot! I have posted videos occasionally on instagram if you want to check me out over there too.

As an artist and a true fan of the Street Fighter series I think your art is really awesome. The idea you had is absolutely cool and I strongly approve this message. Giving out unique stuff to people makes them feel special, which makes them feel better. You can make one's day just with one word and in your case you do it with an awesome sketch. I also think it's really smart because that would make people treat your business cards like a precious item and probably never lose them. Good job, Sir!

Thanks so very much. I can't take all the credit. David Choe inspired me to make my business cards original art. It takes a lot of effort but I truly believe all of the free give aways have some sort of karma that will one day help me in turn. And I also like seeing how surprised people are when I say that can keep it.

This is everything!! You are extremely talented <3 @catapanoart

I really appreciate it!

Damn these rock! Followed.

Thanks a whole lot!

Mine are colored on the back so I can't even try... which might be a good thing since I can't draw. DO you actually give a lot of cards?

Yea, mostly at conventions but occasionally I will have extra time and I will make a bunch to give out.

Great stuff as always.

Wow that must take you so much time. Ever thought of scanning those and printing a few of each. It would not be unique but you would still show up your style! ;-) Great idea anyway!

Yea, I've actually printed a bunch and sold the prints, go figure. But the originals are just a great way to promote and warm yourself up.
