Basic programming course: Lesson #1 - Introduction to programming [ESP-ENG]

Hello Teacher,

I am happy to be a part of this class and I must say that there are things I never knew that I know now. I have gone through the class and I present my homework below.

I would say here that an algorithm is like a daily routine. Things I do everyday that has become part of my lifestyle, of course I can't go a day without doing them.

Algorithm for preparing my pancakes

• Wash my hands with soapy water

• Dry my hands with a clean towel

• Prepare my mise en place

• Get all ingredients mixed in a bowl

• Set my pan on fire

• Start the frying process

• Set the table

• Eat my pancakes

Algorithm for my laundry services

• Unpack all clothes from the basket

• Separate the colored from the white

• Add water in a bowl

• Pour in detergent

• Soak the clothes

• Wash off the clothes

• Rinse the clothes

• Dispose the water

• Sun the clothes

Well, I didn't know much about programming until recently. But one thing I know is that without coding computing would be impossible.

Importance of programming languages

• Logical thinking: This simply offers a good credit to your personal and professional life. Programming may look unachievable with standard formulas, but trust me it is creative and fun. Whenever one is faced with difficulty, the brain thinks logically to develop results.

• Creativity is triggered: Of course, even in the real life show, creativity makes you stand out. Creating ways and thinking rationally on how to solve tasking problems make you a smarter person in the profession.

• Offers opportunity for jobs: We all know that today, digital talents are needed everywhere, they are of high demand everywhere. Technological advancement has really had a great impact on the world and it's not stopping anytime soon.

• Advancement in Technology: There are some programming languages that can be used to create applications and Learning more about these languages helps one gain knowledge on how information transformation (IT) works.

How do programming languages help us?

Programming languages is just different from natural languages. Just as you know, natural languages are used for interactions between people while programming languages give humans access to communicate instructions to computers.

Just by communicating instructions we have power to create or develop software programs easily and faster.

It allows us streamline repetitive task in our daily routine. With this we tend to reduce errors and save time.
