Application for Community Curator "Shining Stars Team" for August 2024
We all appreciate the good initiative to bring change in the curation opportunities. That's the golden chance for all the dedicated and hardworking Steemians who have 2K SP each and collectively 60k to on words apply and groom thier blogging career and to play thier crucial role for the growth of Steemit as well. Here's with three different Active Steemians are willing to apply Curation for August in a team. Hopefully our Application will be considered meaningful to serve our services for the development of Steemit platform respectively.

I am @aviral123 from India. I am a housewife but I also help my husband in his business. I joined the Steemit platform in November 2022. But due to some unavoidable reasons, I started my work 3 months later. Firstly I understood the rules here and then I started my journey in March 2023. Today I have been associated with this platform for 1 year and 4 months. Now I am working as a moderator in Steem For Ladies Community. I have reached here by enjoying my work with a lot of hard work. This experience is very unique and precious. I think hardly anyone will forget this experience here.
I had also played the role of moderator. I had also completed two dolphins. The happiness of which I had shared with all of you.

I am @josepha. I joined Steemit on 21st September 2020, which was the exact date I introduced myself to the newcomer community after carefully studying the platform. Since I joined Steem, I have been an active user sharing quality posts, participating in different contests, and contributing to the growth of the platform through promotions, recruitment, mentoring users, and supporting quality posts with upvotes and comments. I have worked as a moderator in more than 3 communities before now. Also, I have gained vast experience working as a community curator, many times, with different teams. I am an accounting graduate who is currently undergoing his professional examination with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

We are all experienced and in charge of various community moderators. Of course we will try to support quality full posts and posts with high engagement. Above all, we will limit our actions within the rules of the platform. By utilizing our skills and experience we will lead our work towards success. Of course we believe in honesty and integrity. Are you sure you have read the latest application guidelines carefully...?
I see that all three of them speak English as one of the official languages in their countries, I know they also speak other languages but that's what catches my attention...
On the other hand, India and Pakistan belong to the same region, as has already been suggested.

Of course, it's always a matter of interpretation, but I hope the different parts of the world mean bigger differences than a national border in between...
I don't interpret it like this. I mean two different countries...
You need a passport and visa to cross the border.
Talking about passport shenanigans:
I made a huge blunder at passport office today. The one who I sometimes don't listen to. Ahem ahem, asked me to apply for e-passports (kids and I). Another instruction was "fast tracked"
I acted upon the later advice: fast tracked, forgot totally about the "electronic one"...
And now thinking and praying... Please God don't let my 62k go down the drain...
Well I surfed the official website and got to know that the e passports can't be fast tracked anyways. Only one of the conditions could be fulfilled...
In my defence, I listened to the instructions but only partially....
I had to tell this to someone.

Pakistan and India are in the same region.

Previously, the requirement was different "countries." This time it's "region" instead of countries.
Maybe I am wrong because even if both are in South Asian region and have almost same spoken languages but Hindi and Urdu scripts are completely different.
Still, I think it's a good rule because it would be dumb to have a team of Venezuelan, Columbian and Argentinian.🤔

Two countries were separated, got independence, fought for separate homelands based on two nation theory....
They are different in terms of language and religion and also the culture...

This time Steemit team asked for teams from different regions not countries. So, India & Pakistan fall in the same region because of just a border difference they don't belong to different regions. I hope it's correct.
I think what is wrong with this application is the fact that both @aviral123 and @uzma4882 are from one region.
As stated in the application
But looking at this application two people are from the same region.
What should we do now ? It is my 3rd time to apply for curator. We are really dedicated towards our work. The same line, Everything is upto the STEEMIT TEAM. Hope for the best 🤞

I have thoroughly read application accordingly
Over all everything is ok with respect to the status of three applicants about thier different Nationality and workout in different communities and their combined Steem Power. But if we take a notice about the Region yes, we belong to different countries but have same region because of considered as same South Asian countries. Well , we are applying for the third time because our concerns about application is genuine and sincere to work together for the support of the dedicated Steemians and growth of Steemit. Final decision for the selection is up to you. Your kind response is really meant for us .

Well I think she meant passive learning through reading people's blogs. Otherwise curation is about grooming and recognising other bloggers.

And they are (I am almost sure) not moderator or admins in the same community...

Good morning, I think the issue with this application is that she forgot to include #curatorapplication in her first four hashtags and supposed to post it in any community probably Steem for ladies, since she's a moderator there.
I feel it's a regional issue here. The blog says the members of the team should be from different regions which means different continents and two of them come from the same continent or adjoining countries.
Ok what about Bangladesh and Pakistan, please are they in the same region?
In fact, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh were the same countries until 1947 and 1971 when they were divided into three. And if you go in the past there were more in this list.
Yh am aware of this but a team had Bangladesh and Pakistan as team mates last month, though the team wasn't selected.
Last month was, last month then the condition was not the same. The condition to apply are changing constantly and you have to follow them.
Team members should be from different regions. Currently, India and Pakistan are classified in the same region, Asia, among a total of 8 regions.
Nice quiz.... Seriously, I don't know what mistake I did..... I am eagerly waiting for knowing the answer.... But, I want to confirm one thing from my side, dear sir and users , India and Pakistan are two different countries. Although there is a border but it is an another nation.
One cannot cross the border and reach India and Pakistan from each other's mother land, easily. One has to perform all the legal duties before doing so, one must have his passport to cross our border for going to Pakistan, even for going any other country also......
