Coinbase has launched Coinbase Commerce, its own PayPal-like payment service platform for cryptographic curves available to merchants worldwide.

The US Crypto Exchange said that this platform would make it easy for merchants to accept payments in digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin directly to a user-driven wallet.

The Dashboard interface on the payment platform shows the list of wallet balances stored in all supported crypto curves.

The platform can be integrated directly into a merchant's checkout stream or added as payment option on an e-commerce platform. Coinbase said it has already integrated the platform with multi-channel trading platform Shopify, and is integrating more of them.

This will accelerate crypto usage for sure 🤨

I looked at the demo. Moves crypto but no automatic cash-out to fiat, right?

I imagine this and Litepay would be appealing to retailers if people start using it--no more 1-3% visa/mastercard/amex processing fees.

The development in technology such as this indicates that crypto is far from dead or even the so called bubble evryone talks about. Can't wait to see what the G20 summit in March this year will discuss regarding Cryptocurrency and the regulation thereof.

NEW Exchange! Opens in a few days! The next Binance! http://upcoin.com/?ID=ce32d476

My thoughts exactly. Innovation like this is what is going to bring cryptocurrency further into the mainstream, and I genuinely think that within a few years we will see even some of the bigger coins (bitcoin, eth, litecoin) 5x at the very least, and that's conservative. If they do become widely accepted, it's not unreasonable to expect a significant increase in those top coins beyond 10x. Of course this is mostly speculation at this point, but given the track record over the past year or so I don't think that is an unreasonable guess. While some of the smaller coins may become boxed out due to regulation, I think the top players will largely continue to exist.

This little steps are making crypto prices to go up again, and everyday we see new good news, if I had faith in the technology, now I 100% believe that the crypto markets are going to succeed (at least the ones with a project behind).

Coinbase has started big step in cryptocurrency world. I think it will be big player in this world

Yes, we just need them to add ripple now.

Everyone is waiting this decision :) i want to see there iota:)

CoinBase had accepted this error as reflected in the system as more money cuts from the user of the crypto money market and reported that the investigation was done.

Today, the site authorities review the results of the investors who are overpaid with the problem related to the site, explained the visa and related questions and said that they will correct the problems.

Every day we inch closer to a world of crypto freedom. Coinbase being one of the most respected exchanges gives a lot of validity and trust to potential business coming into the space it makes a lot of sense to deal with an exchange that only has a limited number of coins and they are all big players. Hold onto your crypto keys.

Could be another big step in crypto mass-adoption.

If you take into account that the recovery is under way and that there are numerous governments actively promoting blockchain technology (along with the accompanying crypto assets), one can easily see that crypto is slowly entering the wide market. Adoption is on its way. As long as there are means through which merchants can accept crypto, we would see more and more real-world cases of their use, which will remove the argument that they are "speculative assets" in their entirety.

Also, the more that they are accepted, the less impact whales / market manipulators will have. That will create a more stable price, hopefully, which would also impact the public's opinion.

So in essence, keep holding :D nice, positive article!

I wonder what hidden charges or fees will be in it for their customers. I am very anti coinbase at the moment, lets hope they improve their overall customer experience.
They are trying to diversify as much as they can because they know there are some real challenges ahead from the competition for them.

Awww...that's a great news for crypto traders☺
