Free ICO Tokens and some other links

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

So I decided to spend the day signing up with various ICOs to get their free tokens. But I realized, there’s no specific article anywhere I searched today that listed them all into one place. I thought I’d put one together for a friend, and figured I’d share the results for anyone else out there who might want to sign up with them too.

Before we begin, you’re going to need to get yourself a wallet. I myself use a desktop wallet application called Exodus, which allows you to use multiple wallets all in one place.

Now although this article is about ICOs you can get tokens free from, I do want to add a special mention to two apps I like to use. Nicehash and Kyptex.

With these two apps you can leave your computer running (especially when you’re not using it) and earn a few cents each day. Maybe more if your PC is better than mine which sadly only has the one graphics card.
(it should be noted that desktop and browser mining will sometimes tell you, you have a virus… you won’t from these apps! If you can risk it, disable or uninstall your virus scanners and just run a free virus/malware scan online each day or once a week – I do this myself)

Currency exchanges

These are good to have so you can trade the following tokens into later on, once/if they’re accepted on the exchange… if they’re not accepted here, look around for someplace they might be:

There is another called Liqui which you can use if you prefer to have live chat while you’re trading, but the fees are HORRIBLY expensive so unless you’re trading high volumes of currency I wouldn’t bother with them (I unfortunately lucked out and didn’t know about binance before shifting my few dollars into Liqui….big mistake I deeply regret). I mention them because some may prefer to have more than one option.

Free ICO tokens:

Mine in your browser:

Faucets:

Ok these are the best faucets I’ve found, you can mine more often but I just do them once a day, or sometimes twice (12 hours apart) if I remember….

They all send coins to: https://coinpot.co/ (don’t forget you can use this to mine in your browser to earn a little extra, best set for overnight running and you MUST leave the mining window active or it won’t work properly)
Coinpot is a great wee site to earn extra coins, and the don’t seem to have much if anything in the way of fees for withdrawals – and no fees for exchanges between the coins they accept!
With coinpot you will need wallet addresses to send out to…. You can use whichever wallets you like, but personally I use the app I mentioned above, Exodus.

Now, if you decide you want to use currency exchange to trade coins/tokens and make some money, my first-hand-experience advice is: don’t invest anything you cannot afford to lose, and BUY LOW, SELL HIGH. And try not to get too stressed about drops, sometimes currency can go low for a couple of weeks, then soar higher than an eagle. Research past drops/increases to get an idea of how the coin moves on the market. (although I wouldn’t use liqui for exchanges anymore, the guys on the troll box offer great advice on which coins to buy/sell… but be warned, even then there are some nasty trolls who tell you to sell even though everyone else is telling you to hold. But, as with anything, LISTEN TO YOUR GUT!)

Have fun!!
