Hello my dear fellow steemians! Participating in this contest is one of the greatest things I choose to do today. I really appreciate you all as you are willing to go through my opinion and read my different step of knitting.

I have learnt a lot of new things from this week course: how to create a ring after making a chain of five, how to clean my work after knitting, how to make 8 half stitch and how to make first and second 16 half stitch.

Make a chain of 5 and create a hoop or ring. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the task to be performed.

As shown in the picture below, l started with using my yarn with needle to create a chain ⛓️ of 5. This was very simple and easy because I had already acquired this skill in week 1 assignment task.

The sketch pattern shows 5 different chains which help me to understand where I should insert my needle so as to make a ring.

You can see that my arrow is pointing to the chains upward which is the last chains. l gently returned my needle to the first chain which is the beginning of my first stitch thus creating a ring.

Please for a better understanding of my explanation, watch my video.

Task 2: Making a half-stitch and cleaning the knitted work. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the work to be done.

The second task focus on the making of half stitch and cleaning my work with scissors. As shown in task 1 above we have made a ring already, now we need to create a hook. From the front of the chains, I inserted a needle through the centre of the ring and passed it under the hook.

Then I wrapped the thread on the head of the needle then I pull it out and lock it up by making a 1 stitch. I repeated the process for 8 times to complete my half stitch.

For me to have a clear understanding of what l want to do, l decided to make a sketch pattern of the 8 half stitch as shown by our teachers using a pen. Studied it well before making the stitch.

Please watch my video below.

Task 3: Making a half-stitch; first round of 16. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the work to be done.

After creating the ring and making the eight half stitches, it was time to start the first round of 16 half stitches and my fingers were paining me already.

At this point, l felt so exhausted as a apprentice in the course. So l decided to relax for some minutes. Meanwhile, l watched the video repeatedly so as to master the first round 16 half stitch.

I also use my pencil to make a sketch pattern following my teacher deed. I noticed that consistency in this crocheting will drive me to success.

Task 4: Making a half-stitch; second round of 16. Support your explanation with your own photographs or videos that focus on the task to be performed.

In Task 4 I am going to show how I made a second round of 16 half stitch. It wasn't that too difficult as task 3 because I only have to make a repetition of the half stage to make it 16 rounds.

Here is my video.

Task 5: Selfie with the work done to show that you did your job.

After all, l was very happy to have beautiful knitting in my hands and so l made a selfie of my work. I enjoyed this week knitting because I have changed my yarn size and my needle size.

I never thought I will be able to complete this week course because it was so challenging, but consistent practice with passion for it helped me to give my very best.

It is really challenging yet it's worth all the time sacrifice in learning this because learning something that will benefit us greatly is always awesome and a rare opportunity. I love how our teachers detailed all illustration via voice, making it easier to understand.

I must say... Steemit team is doing a great job and the effort are so obvious. I can't wait to enjoy the remaining week's challenges.
My special thanks goes to @analp and
@naka05 for this wonderful classes.

I would like to invite @jyoti-thelight, @pandora2010 and @lunasilver to participate in this challenge.
