Enacting Change

I look around today and I see many people losing faith in systems. We have a government in the US that fully engages in false flag attacks and cover-ups to drive policy and protect powerful individuals. It's foolish to believe any information we are fed through official news channels, so much of it is lies. With events recently being so obvious, like the Epstein murder, arrest of a single shooter in Texas, when both pictures and eyewitnesses point to multiple shooters, and the obvious false flag on the oil tanker in the mid-east, it's perfectly rational to lose hope in the governments, news agencies and the systems that present this false data over and over.

But one can approach the news with skepticism and disbelief and not lose hope. There is still hope! It takes a very small number of dedicated people to make real change. Just look to Hong Kong right now, where a fraction of the population is standing up to the might of China. There is hope.

In my own city a few thousand people turning out in protest in Ferguson changed how we view police brutality. It even created the concept of the Ferguson Effect. The largest civil rights demonstration in 1963 pulled in around 1% of the population. That certainly had wide ranging effects!

1% of the Syrian population is involved in their rebellion and it's been going on for close to a decade. According to some historical estimates and asserted by the US 3%er movement in the US- only 3% of the denizens of what is now the United States actively participated on the American Revolution.

It's not an anomaly. This BBC article calls out the various moments in history that were shaped by an active minority.

Get out there, get active and change the world. We've got this. A better future is ahead! We can shape it.
