Camiguin Island : The Beauty Behind this Place (Part 1)

in #camiguinisland7 years ago

Camiguin Island, when you heard this name, things that comes in our mind is their famous pastel and their breath taking Island. Everyone who visit this Island will leave smiling and contented because of the beauty this Island could offer. And indeed it was an all worth it experience when I, myself given the chance to see, enjoy and experience the beauty of Camiguin Island.

Following are list of tourist spot I payed a visit in my 3 days fieldtrip.

  1. Sunken Cemetery:
Researches says that "Sunken Cemetery" was first to be called after the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vulcan in the year of 1871 and up to now, Sunken Cemetery is one of the visited tourist spot in Camiguin Island. I didn't get the chance of seeing it closely since I'm a little bit scared but I'm telling you it's not that you will feel goosebumps or feel creepy to this cemetery but an amazement of the scenery.

  2. The famous White Island:
White Island cannot be seen in the shoreline, you need to ride a boat and travel with a minimum of 10 minutes and was a heart-stopping experience going to that island since that time, the weather is not good, high sea waves and salty splash of water to our body. As we arrive, amusement is all you can see in my face, it was heaven!. Clear blue sky mirroring the sea itself. Enjoying myself, taking pictures and a lot of swimming time is all I did that time, magnetize with its beauty that going home is the least thing on my mind. And I must say, it's a perfect place if you want to unwind and stay away from the busy buzzy life in the city. And calmness will take your whole being. And before I forgot it also known as the "lulubog, lilitaw Island" because White Island can be seen if it is low tide and sink if it is high tide and I am lucky enough see and enjoy it.

Happy Kid!
