Is Bitcoin Gold even a useful crypto asset? It is seriously underperforming

Is it worthwhile investing in Bitcoin Gold?

That cryptocurrency is the worst performing of among the three bitcoin cryptos.

It has almost fallen to its original $200 price which it started trading from.

I just hope it doesn't fall below.
