Hi friends, I prepared for you a small drawing/painting tutorial.

If you want to improve your skills, you can join me and also try to draw this flower. It will take you about 30 minutes, maybe a little more.

You will need a pencil, waterproof liner (0,3 mm), thin round brush, water and watercolors.

🔹 First we need to sketch the outline. My drawing has size about 15cm, so you can try do it close. Draw light lines so it will be easy for you to erase them. You can also use a pencil as a ruler. Attach the pencil to the model and use your thumb to catch the size of any part of the picture you need. Then put the pencil on your paper and mark the size.

🔹 When you are sure of your outline you can start to draw with a liner. Draw the stamens firts. Start with those closer to you.

🔹 When the outline is done draw also inside lines. You can also use thinner pen if you have one. It would look smoother.

🔹 Darker parts can have stronger lines.

🔹 We can start with painting now. Use a lid of your watercolors to mix colours - magenta and purple. Make short strokes and use enough water.

🔹 Stamens can be darker at their lower parts. It is good to let some parts white, so it seems like reflection. Try to mix colors, use different shades...

🔹 You can lay a light green color on a stem. As you can see, some parts are still white.

🔹 Now you can mix darker green. Try to mix it with a little bit of brown, so the shade will be more natural. This green goes to edges of the stem. You can also add a small amount of magenta to make it more consistent with the rest.

And it is done!

I hope you enjoyed this post and maybe some of you also try it :) You can prepare for more tutorials like this, so if you are interested join me!

Thanks for watching!
