Thousands of years ago, art existed in all forms that we have today. The medium and mode of art might vary slightly but the overall notion of depicting lifestyle and culture of people was the major focus in any art form.
The focus of art has always been to creatively portray imagination in the best form. Art is sometimes misinterpreted as just painting but drama, dance, singing and any other expressive form is also an art. Here are a few key advantages of art

Well, it's hard to not quote, "A picture is worth a thousand words" here. Such is the power of photography. Going back several centuries, nobody can forget a Picasso or a DaVinci. They are popular even today because of their contributions to the world through art. Several paintings have conveyed the whole history and life of complete civilizations. It would have taken the reading of a complete book to develop to develop a similar level of understanding.
The modern world for all practical purposes has evolved from paintings to photography when it comes to depicting art and culture. In the olden times, people used to draw a war scene or a kingdom. But now some good and clear photos would tell you the full story of everything.

With the evolution of technology and the easier accessibility, high-end cameras are built on everyone's phones. This has helped us create everlasting memories with our friends and families.
